Hey all, I’m debating whether I should try to fix my dishwasher myself or call in a pro. It’s not draining properly, and I’ve already tried unclogging the filter and checking the hose. I’m pretty handy with tools but don’t want to get in over my head, especially if it’s something more complex. What do you think? Anyone tried DIY first before calling in a repair service?

I totally get the urge to DIY—can be a big money-saver sometimes! But I had a similar problem with my dishwasher a while back, and after trying a few fixes myself, I ended up calling Max Appliance Repair. They’re known for appliance repair Toronto , and honestly, it was a relief to have someone experienced look at it. Turns out, my issue was with the pump, something I definitely wouldn’t have caught on my own! The tech got it sorted quickly and didn’t hit me with any hidden fees, which was great. So if you’re not sure, it might be worth letting them take a look; they’re pretty straightforward and make it easy!
